Our customer in North End, Portsmouth wanted to transform the ground floor of their 100 year old terraced house. What had been four separate rooms became one large, light-filled open plan kitchen with a central island. We removed several internal supporting walls, fitted structural steel throughout, and handled every element in-house, from the structural engineering calculations to the final finish. The result is premium quartz worktops, engineered oak flooring across the whole ground floor, and a space that feels far larger and more luxurious than the original footprint.
